Scope of Position
To timely process and consolidate air export shipments, while ensuring consistent communication with branches and providing an exceptional customer service.Â

Tasks and DutiesÂ
To conduct daily consolidation planning and booking with carriersÂ
Ensure smooth and timely freight process flowÂ
Receive and update shipment status in a timely mannerÂ
Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operating systemÂ
Track and Trace Air Export shipmentsÂ
Interact with branches in arranging their international shipments, meeting / exceeding customer service standardsÂ
Coordinate with our contracted service providers in procuring space and services at a competitive cost levelÂ
Monitor and manage the best consolidation to maximize the yield and profitability while meeting customerâs service requirementsÂ
Make sure correct and timely cost protection and billing in operating systemÂ
Timely check and verify airlinesâ billing statement, EQ report (if applicable) and work with accounting for timely payment to our service providers (airlines, other SPs)Â
Contribute to maintain strong relationships with service providers (Airlines, trucking companies, and others)Â
Meet compliance at all times to regulations. This includes internal policies and procedures such as Operational Process Standards (OPS) and external government regulations or customer policies / requirementsÂ
Understand department process flow, constantly looking for areas of improved efficiencyÂ
Meet KPI standards, as per the companyâs proceduresÂ
Overseas communicationsÂ

College graduate or aboveÂ
2-3 yearsâ related experience and/or training on airfreight or related industry; or equivalent combination of education and experienceÂ
Global logistics industry knowledgeÂ
Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, effectively communicate clearly and concisely to obtain positive resultsÂ
Pro-active, strong organizational skillsÂ
Good computer skills (Excel, Word)Â
IATA/FIATA and Hazardous Materials certification a plusÂ
Fluent in Japanese
