The Vice President, Professional Services is accountable for the performance, scalability, and client impact of Evisions' Professional Services organization. This leader owns the Services business end to endtranslating strong demand and a growing project portfolio into predictable delivery, revenue, healthyutilization, and excellent client outcomes. The role requires a hands-on operating leader who can set clear priorities, build disciplined delivery practices, develop a highly capable team, and make fast decisions as client and business needsevolve. Success is measured by Services revenue attainment,utilization and capacity, backlog conversion, project health, client satisfaction, and the team's ability to execute consistently without adding unnecessary management layers.Â
How You'll Make an ImpactÂ
- Own the Professional Services business and operating planincludingrevenue attainment,utilization, capacity, backlog conversion, delivery quality, and client outcomes against clear goals and forecastsÂ
- Scale the business by growing the existing team through a critical period of high growth, where projects can be variable and customized to each institution,expanding capacity without erodingutilization or margin as demand growsÂ
- Set a higher standard for project management and technical delivery, with clear expectations for scoping, status reporting, risk management, and client communication that hold up under a heavy project loadÂ
- Serve as the executive escalation point for Evisions' most important or complex Services engagements, stepping in early when scope, timeline, technical complexity, or client alignment puts an outcome at risk, shrinking both the frequency andduration of escalations over timeÂ
- Develop and deploy the team's technicalexpertise effectivelyby ensuring senior resources provide architecture, problem-solving, and direction across key projects while developing the capabilities and independence of other consultants and developers, building bench strength so fewer projects require senior escalationÂ
- Partner closely with Sales on scoping, solution design, pricing, and handoff, improving the quality of what Evisions sells and ensuring delivery commitments are achievable, well-defined, and staffed appropriately, reducing margin erosion from under scoped deals and change orders after signingÂ
- Partner cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Support, Client Success, and Finance, removing delivery blockers, improving handoffs, and using Services insights to strengthen the broader client experience and product strategyÂ
- Use data and AI-enabled tools to improve forecasting, project visibility, resource planning, and operating leverageby automating administrative work where possible while keeping leadership focused on decisions, coaching, and client outcomesÂ
About YouÂ
- 10+ years of experience in Professional Services, consulting, enterprise software implementation, or a comparable client delivery organization, including meaningful leadership responsibility. B2B SaaS or higher education technology experience is a strong plusÂ
- Proven experience leading and improving aServices organization with accountability for revenue,utilization, capacity, project delivery, and client outcomes, with an understanding of both the financial and operational mechanics of the businessÂ
- A hands-on operating mindset, with comfort moving between portfolio strategy, staffing decisions, client escalations, project details, and team coaching without losing sight of the bigger pictureÂ
- Strong command of project and portfolio management, with the ability to create enough process and visibility to drive predictable execution without burying a delivery team in administrationÂ
- Experience leading technical services teams and complex software implementations, with the ability to ask the right questions, recognize delivery risk, and help translate technical complexity into clear decisions and client expectationsÂ
- Strongpeople leadership and talent development skills. You set a high bar, give direct feedback, develop future leaders, and create an environment where capable people are trusted to own outcomesÂ
- Commercial and financial fluency, including comfort with Services revenue forecasting,utilization, margins, backlog, pricing, scope management, and the trade-offs involved in scaling a Services businessÂ
- Executive presence and strong client judgment. You can build credibility with senior client stakeholders, navigate difficult conversations, and bring calm, clear accountability to high-stakes situationsÂ
- Comfortable leading through change and using AI and modern operating tools to improve how Services teams plan, communicate, forecast, and deliverÂ

This position will report to a member of Evisions' Executive Leadership Team.Â
Must be able to remain in a stationary position for up to 50% of the time.Â
This is a security-sensitive position and requires a background check and will need to adhere to the Evisions Information Security Management System.Â
Some travel may be required for on-site client engagements and company events, including but not limited to annual kickoffs, team offsites, and client-facing engagements.Â
