We are seeking a detail-orientedQC Wet Chemistry Analyst to support quality control operations in a GMP-regulated laboratory environment. This role focuses on raw material and component testing using wet chemistry techniques, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and maintaining high-quality laboratory documentation and practices. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, client-facing setting and is committed to continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Performroutine testing of raw materials using wet chemistry techniques
• Conductperiodic raw material sampling in compliance with established procedures
• Executevisual inspection/testing of drug product containers, closures, and medical device components
• Perform testing on theraw materials of drug products
• Accuratelydocument test results and maintain laboratory records and logbooks
• Write, revise, and maintain laboratory documentation, including SOPs and specifications (SPECs)
• Ensurelaboratory compliance with cGMP requirements and regulatory standards
• Calibrate, verify, and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment
• Maintain appropriate levels oflaboratory supplies and inventory
• Collaborate with internal teams andinteract with clients and cross-functional groups as needed
• Participate intraining programs to maintain technical and compliance proficiency
• Drivecontinuous improvement initiatives using Lean and 5S principles
• Work bothindependently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) inLife Sciences or a related field
• Hands-on laboratory experience with wet chemistry techniques
• Basic proficiency withMicrosoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.

What to Expect in the Hiring Process: 

• 10-15 Minute Phone Interview with Region Recruiter
• 45-60 Minute Virtual Interview with Manager and/or Group Leader
• 30 Minute Virtual Meeting with the Site Director 

The position is on-site, full-time, first shift, Monday through Friday. Candidates must be flexible to adapt to schedule changes that may require shift changes and/or weekend work, and overtime may be required as needed. Candidates living within a commutable distance of Rensselaer, New York, are encouraged to apply.
