We are looking for an experiencedMiddleware / IIS Administrator with5–6 years of hands-on expertise in managing and optimising web application environments. This role is ideal for a proactive professional with strong problem-solving skills and a customer-oriented mindset to deliver high-quality services in a high expectation environment.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As part of our Infrastructure team in a global IT Program, you will work closely withApplication Support andRelease Management teams to monitor and troubleshoot Production instances, contribute to changes implementation as per established standards, and participate to major incident technical bridges. The technical stack encompasses C# / .NET web applications, IIS administration, Windows and Linux OS, MS SQL databases, VM and container management. Beyond routine tasks, your creativity and proficiency in scripting (Powershell and other languages) will be appreciated to contribute to continuous improvement and automation initiatives. A strong customer-service mindset, excellent communication skills are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and maintainIIS 10 web servers supporting .NET applications.
• Configure bindings, manage websites, backups, and configuration versions.
• Troubleshootapplication pools, virtual directories, and worker processes.
• ImplementSSL certificates, authentication, access controls, and security best practices.
• Diagnose and resolve IIS, ASP.NET, deployment, and performance issues.
• Collaborate onAzure PaaS/SaaS components (Azure Functions, .NET, JavaScript, Python).
• Utilise Azure monitoring tools for performance and health tracking.
• Manage deployments using tools such asOctopus Deploy.
• Automate operational tasks withPowerShell and other scripting languages.
• Provide support forMS SQL Server and coordinate with DBAs for issue resolution.
• PerformWindows Server 2016/2019 administration and troubleshooting.
• ApplyITIL processes (Change, Incident, Problem); ITIL Foundation certification preferred.
• Design and maintainCI/CD pipelines for efficient delivery.
• Implement containerized solutions usingDocker and manage environments withDocker Compose.
• Work with orchestration and configuration tools (Jenkins, Octopus, Docker, Kubernetes).
