Eurofins Environment Testing laboratories provide market-leading and accessible laboratory testing, monitoring and consultancy services for water, air, soil, waste, building products and industrial hygiene applications, enabling you to make informed and credible decisions related to health and the environment.

The Head of Environment Testing Italy is responsible for providing strategic leadership for the Environment Testing companies in the country. The candidate will be working with Managing Directors to establish long-range goals, scientific and commercial strategies, plans and policies.

He/she will develop and execute a strategy to establish and grow Eurofins presence in the Environment Testing market in in Italy building a leading position in targeted market segments within 3-5 years including: 

  • Organic development of current companies while significantly strengthening profitability; 
  • Optimization of the cost base leveraging benchmarking and purchasing power; 
  • Implementation of change management across the organization to increase performance and transparency.  

Regular M&A activities are also part of the scope and highlight the multi-faceted role. 

Experience: 

  • Minimum of 5 years of full P&L responsibility for a complex, multi-site business
  • Proven ability to implement change across complex organization, overcome objections and  create change-agents at all levels 
  • Ability to demonstrate strong leadership and create relations of trust with teams, internal & external stakeholder and to lead them successfully through period of changes  
  • Ability to create a vision and move the organization through transparent and team approach to translate strategy into business results 

 Education: 

  • Undergraduate degree required in the area of Business Administration, Engineering or Life Sciences 
  • Masters or PhD degree highly preferred 

Languages:

Fluent Italian and English is required
