Extractable and Leachable Scientist

• UsesGC-MS, LC-MS,and/or ICP-MSto perform extractables and leachables testing in accordance with applicable protocols and SOPs.
• Generates, compiles, and analyzescomplex data.
• Reviews test resultsfor compliance and reports quality anomalies.
• Interprets current and historical data and authorstechnical summaries.
• Calibrates instruments orverifies calibration before use.
• Troubleshoots instrumentationand laboratory techniques.
• Complies with regulatory requirements and currentcGxPstandards.
• Participates in required training as both a trainee and trainer.
• Maintains laboratory supplies, safety, and compliance.
• Interacts professionally with vendors and cross-functional teams.
• Assists withmethod validation, as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree inchemistrywithminimum 2 years of relevant industry experience
  • ORMaster's degree withany relevant industry experience
• Experience inGC-MS, LC-MS, and/orICP-MS
• Experience operating inside of a GMP lab space
• Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
• Experience writing andreviewing detailed technical documents
• Experience with an electronic laboratory information management system
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivated, adaptability, and a positive attitude
• Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Position is full-time, 1st Shift,Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Rensselaer, NY are encouraged to apply. Pay is between$26.00-32.00/hrand determined based on experience.
