Escrow Officer

Qualified candidates will:

• Understanding the contents described in title commitments, lien searches and surveys
• Knowledge of preparing title documents for closing, such as Deeds and affidavits, etc.
• Knowledge of preparing Closing Disclosures, Settlement Statements and balance sheets/disbursement ledgers
• Order title searches, municipal lien searches, HOA Estoppels, payoffs and surveys (when needed)
• Communicating via phone and emails with lenders, real estate agents and customers.
• Able to handle a moderate to high case load of files and work well with others in the office.
• Familiarity with Excel, Outlook and Closers’ Choice closing software are strongly desired but willing to train.
• Serve as an escrow officer, which includes the receipt and disbursement of funds
• Review all files before, during and after the closings to prevent and resolve any potential issues/claims

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

• Familiarity with phone systems
• Previous experience with Microsoft Office software preferred
• Florida Notary
