Should you be interested in overseeing these tasks and aiming for enhanced performance standards, your role will involve:
Represent theAutoliv Tunisia Plant in resolving customer quality issues
Act as themain interface with all relevant departments to ensuretimely completion of 8D reports
Coordinate theavailability and return of all defective products
Coordinate theimplementation and monitoring of sorting and rework activities at the customer site
Supportnew product launches at customer sites
Managewarranty returns (analysis, 8D, etc.)
Plan orimmediately travel to customer sites when needed
Analyze returns and assess theirseverity
Implementcontainment actions if necessary
Manage or ensure thereturn of defective parts and transfer collected information to Autoliv teams for analysis
Provide necessary elements forQuality analysis
Participate inexpert review committees
Inform the customer about the products
Audit compliance withassembly recommendations
Addresspotential or confirmed quality issues on-site
Handlewarranty returns
Comply withcustomer regulations and standards
If you have/are:
Bachelor degree in Engineering
English, French, Arabic language skills
3 years' experience in the automotive industry
Problem-Solving Methodologies:
8D β Eight Disciplines Problem Solving: a structured approach to solving complex problems, often used in quality management.
PDCA β Plan, Do, Check, Act: a continuous improvement cycle.
5M β Method, Machine, Manpower, Material, Measurement: used to identify root causes in processes.
5P β Purpose, Process, People, Product, Problem: another root cause analysis tool.
Ishikawa β Also known as theFishbone Diagram orCause-and-Effect Diagram, used to visually map out potential causes of a problem.
Quality Standards:
IATF Requirements β Refers to the requirements of theIATF 16949 standard, which governs quality management systems in the automotive industry.
CSR βCustomer Specific Requirements: additional quality or process requirements defined by individual automotive customers.
Core Tools:These are essential quality tools required by IATF 16949:
APQP β Advanced Product Quality Planning
PPAP β Production Part Approval Process
FMEA β Failure Mode and Effects Analysis
MSA β Measurement System Analysis
SPC β Statistical Process Control
