Position Overview
Acts on behalf of the Directors of Nursing, Nurse Managers, and hospital administrators in dealing with Nursing and operational issues by facilitating communication and problem-solving and by providing guidance, direction, education, and support to the nursing employees while observing, assessing and evaluation the quality of care provided for patients.Primary Department, Division, or Unit:

This is a per diem position, which means you will work on an as needed, agreed upon basis. Working hours will be assigned by your manager.
Compensation Range:
$40.87 - $62.19 per hour, depending on experienceThis position is not eligible for benefits.

Education/Experience
Minimum Required:
- A graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
- Three (3) years of progressive Nursing experience.
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s of Science degree in Nursing
- Previous supervisory experience in a hospital setting
License/Certification
Minimum Required:
- Current New York State Registered Nurse License
- CPR within 3 months of hire
Preferred:
- Professional certification in a related nursing specialty (Nursing Administration)
- ACLS certification
