Nights Host & Content Assistant - ZM

Are you obsessed with music, entertainment, social media and creating content people want to engage with? Ready to take the mic and make your mark on one of New Zealand's biggest radio brands?

We're looking for a passionate, creative and energeticZM Nights Host & Content Assistant to host our live national night show while supporting the wider content team behind the scenes.

This is a unique opportunity to combine on-air talent with hands-on content creation. You'll connect with audiences every night, bring fresh ideas to life, support major campaigns and help shape content that reaches audiences across radio, digital and social platforms.

Whether you're hosting live on air, creating social content, or supporting the content team, you'll play an important part in keeping ZM sounding fresh, relevant and entertaining.

As the host ofZM Nights, you'll prepare and present an engaging live show that reflects the personality, energy and values of the ZM brand. You'll create content that sparks conversation, encourages audience interaction and builds meaningful connections with listeners. Beyond the mic, you'll support the day-to-day operations of the ZM team.

HOW YOU'LL MAKE IT HAPPEN:

You're someone who lives and breathes entertainment, music, social media and popular culture. You're confident communicating with an audience, comfortable working in a fast-moving environment and excited about creating content across multiple platforms.

You'll bring:

• Experience in radio, media, content creation or entertainment

• A confident, authentic and engaging on-air presence

• Knowledge of contemporary music, youth culture and digital trends

• Experience creating content for radio, social and digital channels

• Excellent organisation and time management

• A collaborative attitude and willingness to roll up your sleeves

• The ability to take feedback, learn quickly and continuously improve

• A genuine passion for connecting with audiences and creating great content
