ISDA Negotiator

Join Our Team as a Document Negotiator at Axiom

We are seeking an experiencedISDA Negotiator to support financial-services clients with high-volume derivatives and securities-financing documentation needs. This is a priority opportunity for professionals with hands-on experience negotiatingISDAs, CSAs, repurchase agreements, and related trading documentation.

We welcome bothattorney and non-attorney candidates with substantial ISDA negotiation experience. Talent withfutures or futures agreement experience and/ortreasury clearing experience will be prioritized.

Responsibilities:

• Drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and managingISDAs, CSAs, GMRAs, MRAs, MSFTAs, and related documentation.
• Supporting negotiations forderivatives, futures, futures agreements, repo, treasury clearing, and other securities-financing transactions.
• Negotiating and administeringrepurchase agreement documentation, includingGMRAs and MRAs.
• Managing negotiation workflows, issue escalation, documentation tracking, and communication with internal stakeholders and counterparties.
• Reviewing and negotiating provisions relating tocollateral, margin, close-out rights, events of default, termination, and netting.
• Collaborating with legal, credit, risk, treasury, operations, and business teams in a financial-services environment.
• Supporting documentation remediation, repapering, regulatory-driven updates, and other high-volume negotiation projects as needed.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of direct experience negotiating or managingISDAs and CSAs in a financial-services, banking, asset-management, or similar environment.
• Experience withrepurchase agreements, includingGMRAs and/or MRAs.
• Strong understanding of derivatives documentation, collateral, margin, and counterparty-risk concepts.
• Exceptional negotiation, organization, communication, and project-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple negotiations and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• AJD is not required; experienced non-attorney ISDA negotiators are strongly encouraged to apply.

Compensation:

The estimated total compensation for full-time Axiom attorney roles is $104,500-325,000 per year and for non-attorney roles is $71,250-309,750 per year. Compensation decisions are based on various factors, including, but not limited to, experience, skills, certifications, location, and business needs.  Employees may be eligible for additional benefits, including health, dental, and vision insurance; paid holidays and PTO; flexible work arrangements; and professional development opportunities and tools.
