In this role, you will have full leadership andbusiness responsibility for the Improvement Projects and Roll Services business across EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa). This includes overseeing improvement projects, new roll sales, roll services, andmillmaintenanceoperations. Your mission is to drive profitable growth and elevate customer satisfaction by empoweringourregional teams,shaping and executing effective sales and operational strategies, andidentifying new business opportunities to expand our footprint. 

Your responsibilities will include: 

• Driveprofitablegrowth andensurecustomer-centricdeliveryacross EMEA intherespective business: 

• ImprovementProjects and New Roll. 

• Roll Services. 

• Maintenanceoutsourcing. 

• Leadstrategicplanning anddevelopmentinitiatives.  

• Identify andpursuenew businessopportunities andsynergies.  

• Strengthenagreementbased business andoperationalpractices.  

• Develop teamcapabilities andleadmulticultural teams in amatrixorganization.  

• Leadingselected salescases anddeliveryexecution. 

• Leadorparticipate inselectedinitiativesrelated totheImprovement Projects and Roll Servicesbusiness. 

• Promotecontinuousdevelopment of teamcapabilities andassignresponsibilities.  

• CoordinatetheImprovement Projects and Roll Services businessstrategy andannualplanningprocess. 

To succeed in this role, you will need: 

• 8+ years of international experience in areas such as sales leadership, service projects, mill maintenance, and agreement-based business—ideally with exposure to cross-functional, customer-facing roles. 

• Strong understanding of customer interfacesand marketacross EMEA. 

• Proven strategic thinking and execution capabilities, supported by strong business acumen.  

• People-oriented leadership style with a strong commitment to enabling others’ success, fostering collaboration, and developing team capabilities.  

• Excellent collaboration and networking skills within a global matrix organization.  

• Analytical mindset with the ability to solve complex, multi-dimensional challenges.  

• Willingness to travel approximately40% of your working time acrossthe EMEA region.  

• Familiarity with Valmet’s internal processes, tools, and systems is considered an advantage.  

• M.Sc. or B.Sc. degree in a relevant field

This is an EMEA-wide position, and the successful candidate can be based at any Valmet location across the EMEA region
