What you'll do...
As an Assistant General Manager, you'll play a critical leadership role in driving operational excellence, associate engagement, and customer satisfaction within a high-volume Walmart Distribution Center. Partnering closely with the General Manager, you'll lead teams, develop future leaders, and ensure safe, efficient operations that deliver results for our customers.What You'll Do
- Lead daily distribution center operations to achieve goals related to productivity, quality, safety, and customer service.
- Develop and execute business plans that support operational performance and continuous improvement.
- Build, coach, and develop high-performing teams, creating a culture of accountability, engagement, and growth.
- Manage workforce planning, staffing, and performance to meet business demands.
- Analyze operational and financial data to drive informed decisions and improve business outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Foster a culture centered on associate safety, inclusion, and operational excellence.
- Partner with leaders across the network to implement process improvements and drive innovation.
- Serve as a champion for Walmart's values by supporting community engagement and associate development initiatives.

The annual salary range for this position is $116,000.00 - $174,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :

Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in business or a related field (e.g., Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Financial Management, Production/Operations Management); and 2 years experience in a senior management role within an operations/distribution/logistics environment, supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing managers/supervisors; managing workload; and participating in the hiring and promotion of employees facility-wide OR 2 years experience as a Walmart Logistics Operations Manager including supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing associates; managing associate workload; and participating in the hiring and promotion of associates OR 4 years experience in a senior management role in an operations/distribution/logistics /retail environment, supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing managers/supervisors; managing workload; and participating in the hiring and promotion of employees facility-wide.Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments (for example, Academy trainings, Open Door trainings, etc.).
