Epic IT Contractor

Summary:

• Duration: 6 Months
• Work Mode: Remote
• Shift: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and troubleshoot application and system issues
• Identify root causes and resolve problems or escalate when appropriate
• Plan, design, implement, maintain, and optimize Epic applications
• Gather, validate, and translate business and technical requirements
• Convert business needs into system design solutions
• Collaborate with end users, vendors, and IT teams to develop and maintain systems
• Design, build, and optimize workflows to support clinical and operational needs
• Configure and integrate hardware and software solutions
• Troubleshoot incidents and document resolutions
• Complete testing, validation, and debugging activities
• Create and maintain application, design, and technical documentation
• Support reporting requirements by partnering with report developers and stakeholders
• Coordinate with Epic and third-party vendors to resolve issues and improve system functionality
• Review system upgrades and monthly updates for operational impact
• Provide Tier 2 support for supported applications and systems

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of two years of related experience required
• Epic ASAP Analyst Certification
• Epic certification in the assigned primary application may be required within four months of hire

• Epic ASAP Analyst Certification
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience supporting clinical applications and healthcare workflows
• Experience gathering technical and operational requirements
• Knowledge of Epic application design, implementation, maintenance, and optimization
• Ability to collaborate effectively with clinicians, operational leaders, IT teams, and vendors
• Experience supporting system upgrades and release management processes
