Senior Python Software Engineer

We are looking for aSenior Python Software Engineer to develop and maintain AI-powered backend services that drive our client's platform, contributing to both new AI capabilities and existing production systems. You will play a key role in delivering reliable software, building scalable cloud-native services and integrating AI capabilities into production applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop backend services primarily in Python
• Maintain and enhance existing C#/.NET components
• Build REST APIs and AWS-based services
• Implement AI-powered features
• Participate in code reviews and technical design
• Troubleshoot production issues
• Collaborate with Product, QA and Architecture teams
• Contribute to technical documentation and engineering best practices
• Improve system performance and maintainability

Requirements

• 3+ years of commercial software development experience
• Strong Python development experience with working knowledge of C#/.NET
• Proficiency in AWS Cloud, REST API development and Git
• Skills in SQL and experience building production backend applications
• Background in cloud-native application development
• Understanding of object-oriented design principles and Clean Code and software design patterns
• Familiarity with Agile development experience
• Knowledge of CI/CD and source control workflows
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with Generative AI / LLM applications and Agentic AI concepts
• Knowledge of AWS Bedrock, Terraform (HCL) and JavaScript / TypeScript
• Skills in Prompt Engineering, Streamlit and Jupyter Notebooks
• Background in enterprise-scale distributed systems
• Experience in automotive or CRM domain
