Senior DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a highly experiencedSenior DevOps Engineer to design, build, and operate a high-performance Perforce ecosystem and build infrastructure on AWS for a global game development team (together with the client team).

The role focuses on ensuring reliable, secure, and scalable infrastructure, enabling efficient collaboration across distributed teams and vendors. You will be responsible for maintaining enterprise-grade Perforce architecture, secure cloud networking, and supporting large-scale build and integration workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain a scalable, enterprise-grade Perforce architecture for distributed teams, together with the client team
• Build and operate secure AWS infrastructure, including networking and access layers
• Support integration between Perforce, build systems, and CI/CD pipelines
• Ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of development infrastructure
• Implement and maintain security controls across cloud and tooling environments
• Establish and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting frameworks
• Identify and resolve infrastructure and build-related bottlenecks
• Support global teams and vendors by ensuring stable and consistent development workflows

Requirements

• 3+ years of proven experience in DevOps, Infrastructure Engineering, or Systems Administration in gaming
• Background in Perforce administration in distributed environments, including replication, scaling, and performance tuning
• Hands-on expertise with AWS infrastructure and networking, covering VPCs, subnets, and routing
• Proficiency in VPNs and secure connectivity, along with firewalls, WAF, and DDoS protection
• Skills in designing and maintaining high-performance build and source control infrastructure
• Understanding of secure cloud architecture and access control, including IAM, encryption, and secrets management
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code and GitOps practices
• Knowledge of observability practices such as monitoring, logging, and alerting
• Strong problem-solving skills with the capability to manage complex infrastructure environments
• Experience supporting large-scale, distributed engineering teams
• Proficiency in English at an Upper-Intermediate level (B2) or higher

Nice to Have

• Experience in game development or real-time media environments
• Familiarity with the Unreal Engine build ecosystem
• Understanding of large-scale binary asset pipelines
• Understanding of GDPR and compliance requirements
• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, Perforce P4)
