Senior DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a skilledDevOps Engineer to join the new team, focusing on introducing Specification Driven Development (SDD) processes, infrastructure provisioning, permission management, and establishing a robust CI/CD process for the re-implemented solution. The role requires hands-on experience with cloud migration, automation, and collaboration with both stakeholders and the development team.

Responsibilities

• Implement Spec-driven development processes
• Design and implement automated pipelines for functional, performance and security testing
• Automate BAU (Business As Usual) requests using GitHub Actions
• Provision and manage cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure
• Manage permissions and access controls across services
• Support development requests, including security bugs, dependency updates, performance issues and system enhancements across DB, service and UI streams
• Collaborate directly with stakeholders and the development team

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering
• Proficiency in Microsoft Azure, Azure DevOps and Kubernetes
• Skills in GitHub Actions, GitHub Spec Kit and Specification Driven Development (SDD)
• Expertise in Gen AI Assisted Development
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher

Nice to Have

• Experience with Spec-driven development and migration to GitHub
• Capability to automate BAU requests using GitHub Actions
• Expertise in designing and implementing automated pipelines for functional, performance and security testing
• Strong soft skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders and development teams
• Flexibility to work at least until 12pm EST, with occasional later meetings
