Senior Automation Tester

We are seeking an experienced Senior Automation Tester to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring software quality across a wide range of applications and environments. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design robust testing strategies and deliver reliable, high-performing solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute test cases to validate application functionality and quality
• Report and document issues clearly to support quick resolution
• Analyze identified issues to determine root causes and impact
• Report problems encountered during test execution to relevant stakeholders
• Communicate test results with detailed insights into product quality
• Understand project scope through user interviews and stakeholder discussions
• Collaborate with software developers and support teams to align on quality goals
• Identify business needs and translate them into effective testing approaches
• Participate in project planning activities to define testing scope and timelines
• Supervise software applications and systems to ensure consistent quality standards
• Execute stress, performance, functional, and scalability tests to validate application readiness
• Run and test automation scripts to accelerate delivery and improve coverage
• Perform manual and automated testing across various application layers
• Test applications in different environments, including web and mobile platforms
• Meet departmental and project deadlines while maintaining quality standards
• Perform quality assurance activities to ensure product reliability
• Detect potential errors and defects before they impact end users
• Present results to software development teams and clients in a clear and structured way
• Work on multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining focus and quality

Requirements

• At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in software testing or a similar area
• Solid knowledge of various testing types, including unit, functional, integration, regression, stress, and volume testing
• Hands-on experience with SQL, Oracle, and Sybase databases for data validation and back-end testing
• Experience working with Agile, Waterfall, and traditional development methodologies
• Practical experience in test automation using Selenium for browser-based applications
• Proficiency with tools such as Selenium, GitLab, Jira, Jenkins, TestLink, and Mantis for testing and defect tracking
• Experience using debugging tools to investigate and resolve application issues
• Strong logistics skills for coordinating testing activities and managing test environments
• Experience with version control systems such as Git, GitLab, and SVN
• Proficiency in PL/SQL for advanced database interactions
• Basic knowledge of SQL and Oracle databases for querying and data verification
• Knowledge of test automation with Selenium and UFT for functional and regression coverage
• Confident use of Git version control and code repositories
• Basic understanding of PL/SQL and T-SQL for database-related testing
• Ability to apply manual testing techniques, including white-box and black-box approaches, as well as automation
• Knowledge of using specific environments dedicated to QA testing activities
• Fluent English skills, both written and spoken, at a B2+ level or higher
