Salesforce Solution Architect - Corporate Banking (CCB)

We're looking for aSalesforce Solution Architect – Corporate Banking (CCB)to join our team in Portugal in a remote working mode. In this role, you will provide architectural leadership for strategic corporate banking initiatives, with a particular emphasis on Salesforce platforms such as Financial Services Cloud and Experience Cloud. You will ensure seamless integration of Salesforce capabilities with wider enterprise systems, shaping end-to-end solutions that support onboarding, servicing, and corporate product offerings for medium-to-large enterprises. This is an opportunity to blend deep Salesforce expertise with enterprise-scale solution design in a regulated banking environment.

Responsibilities

• Define and govern end-to-end solution architecture strategies across Salesforce and related components
• Design practical architectures for Corporate Banking processes covering onboarding, sales and servicing, and specialized lending products
• Align solutions with enterprise standards, ensuring interoperability with platforms, services and data integrations
• Partner with engineering teams to ensure detailed technical designs adhere to agreed architecture principles and governance frameworks
• Produce and maintain solution documentation including functional architectures, system interaction diagrams and target state designs
• Peer review design outputs from other architects to validate architectural integrity and compliance
• Support long-term technology roadmaps while addressing immediate business priorities and delivery needs
• Engage with stakeholders to simplify complex architectural concepts, influencing decisions at senior levels

Requirements

• Significant experience as a Solution Architect within large, complex financial services environments
• Proven ability to design and implement solutions anchored in Salesforce (Financial Services Cloud and Experience Cloud)
• Strong grasp of integration strategies between Salesforce and enterprise ecosystems
• Demonstrated experience balancing business outcomes with long-term architecture vision
• Hands-on expertise creating functional architectures, defining logical components and managing decommissioning or archival activities
• Familiarity with architecture governance practices and compliance requirements in financial institutions
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to influence and align diverse groups

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of architecture frameworks and standards such as TOGAF, BIAN, ArchiMate or C4
• Familiarity with microservices, API integration patterns and cloud technologies like AWS
• Previous involvement in global banking transformations or large-scale delivery programs
• Experience defining As-Is and Target Architecture and supporting roadmap delivery
• Hands-on experience with architecture tools such as Avolution Abacus
