Middle Accountant, Accounts Payable (Argentina)

We are seeking a Middle Accountant to join our Argentina-based global shared service Accounts Payable group and ensure accurate, compliant financial processing. You will handle vendor payments, US GAAP expense postings, and SAP month-end close, while coordinating with statutory accountants and audit stakeholders. Responsibilities

• Validate expenditure documentation to ensure all accounting information is accurate
• Execute payments to EPAM vendors, covering domestic/international wires and both batch and individual transactions
• Book company expenses under US GAAP, including accounts payable and banking-related entries
• Carry out SAP monthly close tasks in line with internal procedures
• Coordinate with local statutory accountants to resolve bookkeeping issues
• Deliver explanations and backup documents to Senior or Lead Accountants for assigned entities as needed
• Answer internal and external stakeholder requests, attend meetings, and prepare audit materials
• Support process improvement work with the IT team, spot optimization areas, and assist with testing new processes

Requirements

• Degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in Accounting or Finance
• 2 years of professional accounting experience or more
• Advanced Excel skills within MS Office for reporting and data analysis
• Strong detail orientation and disciplined compliance focus
• Demonstrated accountability and ownership of deliverables
• Ability to follow defined procedures and established guidelines
• Drive for ongoing learning and professional improvement
• Team-first approach with experience in multicultural environments
• English level B2+ (Upper-Intermediate) or higher, spoken and written

Nice to Have

• ACCA or DipIFR certification
• Experience using SAP for accounting work
• Familiarity with Accounts Payable or Treasury processes
