Full-Stack Software Engineer

We are looking for aFull-Stack Software Engineer to join a delivery team working on enterprise-grade solutions in the financial services domain. The successful candidate will contribute to the design, development and maintenance of robust back-end services and business process integrations.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain enterprise Java applications using JSP and deployed on IBM WebSphere
• Implement and integrate SOAP-based web services using WSDL and XML
• Work with Microsoft SQL Server, writing and optimising queries, stored procedures and data models
• Model and implement business processes using BPMN standards
• Collaboration with business analysts and architects to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Participation in code reviews while contributing to and adhering to team engineering standards
• Produce and maintain technical documentation

Requirements

• 4+ years of demonstrable experience in Java, JSP and Microsoft SQL Server
• Proficiency in WSDL and XML
• Greek fluency (spoken and written) as the position involves collaboration with Greek-speaking stakeholders
• Upper-Intermediate English language proficiency (B2+)

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with IBM WebSphere, BPMN and Apache Log4j
• Skills in Angular or other JavaScript/front-end framework
• Expertise in Spring Boot and Cloud (Azure or AWS)
• Exposure to AI-native or AI-assisted development including the use of tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot or similar
• Understanding of financial services or the banking domain, Scrum environment and Azure DevOps
