Responsibilities: Â
Assign daily work digitally to line clearance contractors using designated workflow and asset management software. Â
Participate in a rotating call schedule to support emergency response needs. Â
Dispatch crews during 24-hour on call shifts for storm events, emergencies, and unplanned outages. Â
Troubleshoot and resolve customer and contractor questions related to vegetation management activities. Â
Conduct field inspections in response to customer inquiries and vegetation related outage investigations. Â
Update and maintain performance tracking systems and reporting tools required by the client. Â
Perform quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) inspections to ensure Vegetation Management program objectives are met. Â
Manage and monitor service tickets and track the status and progress of line clearance crews. Â
Conduct tree and brush inventories to support work planning and operational needs. Â
Perform hazard tree assessments and document findings for mitigation planning. Â
Manage and verify data related to vegetation management activities and field operations. Â
Ensure the safety of employees and the public by identifying and mitigating hazards in and around the work area. Â
Enforce safe work practices and compliance with company and industry safety standards. Â
Use and maintain tools, equipment, and materials required at the job site. Â
Perform routine servicing of trucks and equipment, ensuring all assigned assets are kept clean, organized, and in good working order. Â
Carry out additional duties as assigned to support departmental and operational needs.Â

Requirements:Â
Bachelor’s degree in Forestry, Natural Resources, or a related field; equivalent experience in utility line clearance operations will also be considered. Â
Strong ability to identify tree species, recognize invasive vegetation, and understand tree growth characteristics. Â
ISA Certified Arborist credential preferred, or willingness and ability to obtain certification within six months of hire. Â
Primarily office based and remote work, with occasional field visits as operational needs arise. Â
Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record. Â
Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Â
Strong verbal and written communication skills. Â
Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. Â
Ability to travel, work outdoors, and operate safely in rugged terrain and adverse weather conditions. Â
Proficiency in map reading and navigation. Â
Experience with Microsoft Office and digital data collection tools; GIS experience is a plus.Â
