Enterprise Data Governance Architect

We are looking for anEnterprise Data Governance Architect to shape a scalable governance, cataloging, and security approach across a unified digital data ecosystem. You will partner with cross-functional teams to define policies, metadata, lineage, and data quality standards that enable compliant analytics at scale.

Responsibilities

• Define an enterprise data governance framework, policies, and operating model for multi-country organizations
• Design metadata management, data cataloging, and data lineage architecture to improve transparency and control
• Establish data quality standards, KPIs, and monitoring rules to improve reliability of analytics outputs
• Align privacy, retention, and access control requirements with security and legal stakeholders
• Lead discovery workshops to assess data maturity, identify gaps, and shape target-state roadmaps
• Advise engineering and analytics teams on governance-by-design patterns for delivery execution
• Communicate governance strategy, decisions, and trade-offs clearly to business and technical stakeholders

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in enterprise data governance frameworks (for example DAMA-DMBOK) and operating models
• 3+ years of experience with metadata management, data cataloging, and automated data lineage capabilities
• 3+ years of experience designing data quality metrics, controls, and stewardship workflows
• Senior consulting and workshop facilitation skills with executive stakeholder management
• Change leadership experience driving alignment across multicultural, cross-functional teams
• Strong knowledge of privacy compliance and data protection concepts (for example GDPR, CCPA)
• Hands-on knowledge of cloud data platforms and architectures, including AWS
• Solid understanding of role-based access control (RBAC) and security-by-design principles
• Strong strategic thinking skills with attention to detail in policy and standards design
• Advanced proficiency in English (B2+/C1)

Nice to have

• AWS certification (for example AWS Certified Solutions Architect)
• Hands-on experience with Databricks Unity Catalog
• Experience with modern lineage and cataloging tools
• Knowledge of AI-enabled analytics governance considerations
