About the role: 

Our Trade Centre'soperate a little differently to our retail sites providing a delivery and pick up solution for key building lines, delivering bulk quantities of materials to building sites. We partner with our commercial customers, helping them manage their projects with a ‘whole of build’ solution.   

This is a Full-Time role and the flexibility to work morning, day and evening shifts from Monday-Friday is required so that we can provide the best experience to our customers

As a Forklift Operator, you will play an essential role in the efficient operation of our Trade Centre by ensuring the smooth movement of stock, products, and materials. You willbe responsible for safelyoperating a forklift to transport goods,load and unload deliveries, andmaintainaccurate inventory records. This role is vital to supporting our trade customers and ensuring thetimely delivery of products for their projects.

What’s involved:    

• Safelyoperate a forklift to load, unload, and transport goods within the Trade Centre 

• Organise andmaintain stock in the Trade Centre, ensuring products are easily accessible 

• Assist in keepingaccurate inventory records andassist with stock control 

• Ensure safe and efficient storage of goods,maintaining a clean andorganised warehouse environment 

• Assist with stock takes and reporting discrepancies when necessary 

• Collaborate with the team to fulfil customer orders quickly and accurately 

• Adhere to all safety protocols and operational procedures tomaintain a safe work environment 

• Assist with customer service asrequired, including loading customer vehicles when needed 
   

Who we’re looking for:  

We are looking for an experienced Forklift Operator with a strong commitment to safety and operational efficiency, along with a customer-first attitude and the ability to work independently. 

You’ll need:    

• A current valid forklift licence 

• Previous experienceoperating a forklift in a warehouse or tradecentre environment is preferred 

• Strongorganizational skills and attention to detail 

• Ability to work efficiently in a busy and fast-paced environment 

• Good communication and teamwork skills 

• A positive, can-do attitude and a focus on safety 

• Availability to work flexible hours Monday-Friday
