Senior Automation Tester in JavaScript

We are looking for aSenior Automation Tester in JavaScript to design, build, and maintain automation frameworks for native mobile applications, contributing to a fast-paced project where adaptability and problem-solving are key to success.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain a robust automation framework for native mobile applications using Appium, API testing, and web apps
• Define and implement best practices for test automation, including CI/CD integration, test data management, and reporting
• Apply GenAI tools, services, and solutions to improve velocity in regular activities such as regression execution time, script updates, execution analysis, and reporting
• Develop automated test scripts for functional and regression testing
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage
• Review and analyze product requirements for clarity and consistency with existing features
• Create test cases and verify defects
• Attend daily standups and other meetings
• Maintain communication within the distributed team, including interactions with other teams
• Provide status reporting

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in test automation, with a strong focus on mobile applications
• Proven expertise in Appium and automation of native mobile apps for iOS and Android
• Strong programming skills in JS and decent proficiency in Java
• Experience in using GenAI tools/services, including agentic solutions, for test automation activities
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Bitrise
• Familiarity with Xcode, iOS simulators, and device testing
• Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• Experience with test management tools such as TestRail
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and backend testing
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
