Job Description
U.S. Bank is seeking an experiencedsoftware engineer todesign, develop, and operationalize ourenterprise architecture operations and technology intelligencecapability.As a member of the Enterprise Architecture team, this role closely partners witharchitecture and technologystakeholdersto streamline architecture and IT processes and enable capabilities to provide meaningful technology intelligence that facilitates technology strategy, planning and efficientIToperations.This position combines deep hands-on expertise inAI, programming languages (e.g. Python),data modeling and ETL, Architecture Tooling (SaaS), Cloud (AWS), and process automation.The ideal candidate will have a blend of strategic andpractical design thinking, solving complex enterprise technology problems with enterprise grade solutions.Â

Key ResponsibilitiesÂ
Process EngineeringÂ
- Redesign architecture operational processes and build automations using AI, process tooling and codeÂ
- Build automations to collect business process data and enablean enterpriseprocess intelligence repositoryÂ
- Build and deploy process automation solutions on the cloud and with SaaS productsÂ
Data and Meta Model EngineeringÂ
- Design and implement an enterprise meta model graph that acts as a “digital twin” of U.S. Bank’s IT operationsÂ
- Leverage data transformation tool (e.g. VaultSpeed) to transform data into consumable data products (e.g. gold and silver layers)Â
- Integrate and leverage with data analytics capabilities such as Data Bricks and SnowflakeÂ
Architecture Tooling and Intelligence Â
- Implement, configure, and augment Enterprise Architecture and Process Mining toolingÂ
- Analyze and redesign architecture processes Â
Software Engineering & ArchitectureÂ
- Develop scalable, maintainable applications using Python and microservices-based architecturesÂ
- Apply secure coding standards and robust data handling practices for regulated environmentsÂ
- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines supporting automated testing, deployment, and release managementÂ
- Enforce engineering best practices including code reviews, testing, and documentationÂ
Technical Leadership & InfluenceÂ
- Drive critical design decisions for large-scale IT operationssolutionsÂ
- Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and resilient technical solutionsÂ
- Partner with stakeholders across product, business, risk, and security functionsÂ
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
- Six to eight years of relevant experience

Location expectationsÂ
This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $139,230.00 - $163,800.00U.S. Bank will consider qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records for employment.
