Senior Android Engineer (Kotlin & Jetpack Compose)

We are looking for an experiencedSenior Android Engineer (Kotlin & Jetpack Compose) to take ownership of a modern native Android application built withKotlin, Jetpack Compose, and a modular Gradle architecture.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with product, design, backend, platform, and QA teams to deliver secure, scalable, and high-quality mobile features, including reusable UI components, API integrations, authentication, identity-verification journeys, and release operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Own, develop, and maintain the native Android application usingKotlin and Jetpack Compose
• Build maintainable Compose features using modern Android architecture patterns andHilt dependency injection
• Contribute to amodular Android architecture, including application, network, core, reusable-component, and design-system modules
• Build and maintain reusableJetpack Compose components aligned with the application design system
• Integrate backend services, APIs, authentication, and customer journeys
• Integrate and maintain third-party SDKs andidentity-verification capabilities
• Develop secure device and customer journeys following Android security best practices
• UseKotlin Serialization and KSP-based tooling
• Write and maintain unit, integration, and UI tests
• Manage application flavors and environment-specific configurations
• Support Android build, release, and distribution processes
• Work withFirebase App Distribution and production monitoring tools
• Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and architecture improvements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to continuously improve application quality and performance

• University degree inComputer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Kotlin and native Android development
• Strong hands-on experience withKotlin and Jetpack Compose
• Solid understanding of modernAndroid application architecture and state-driven UI development
• Hands-on experience withHilt dependency injection
• Experience withmodular Android applications and reusable components or libraries
• Experience integratingbackend APIs, authentication or identity services, and third-party SDKs
• Experience withKotlin Serialization and familiarity with KSP-based code generation
• Good understanding of Android security best practices, including secure token and credential storage
• Experience withGradle Kotlin DSL and dependency management using version catalogs
• Strong knowledge ofAndroid Studio, debugging, and performance-analysis tools
• Experience writingunit and UI tests using Android testing frameworks
• Familiarity with Git-based development workflows and code reviews
• Experience working within anAgile environment
• Strong communication, collaboration, and ownership skills

• Experience withJumio or another KYC/identity-verification SDK
• Experience developing reusableJetpack Compose design systems and component libraries
• Experience withFirebase App Distribution
• Experience withNew Relic mobile monitoring and production observability
• Experience with product flavors and environment-specific Android configurations
• Experience infintech, wallets, payments, or financial-services mobile applications
• Knowledge of AndroidCI/CD pipelines, particularly Azure DevOps

• Familiarity withKotlin Multiplatform (KMP)
