Engine Systems Engineer

Responsibilities:

• The Engine Systems Engineer is responsible for providing strategic and technical leadership in the area of developing engine & hybrid control system strategies.
• Experience in either propulsion system control development and/or calibration is desired.
• The candidate should be experienced in engine controls, hybrid controls, engine systems development, calibration and FE/emissions testing.
• The candidate must be a strong team player, systems focused with interdisciplinary experience & expertise, and willing to work in fast paced environment.
• The Engine Systems Engineer is responsible for both individual technical project deliverables, coordinating activities and bringing projects to successful conclusions.

• 1-5 years of total experience in engine system controls/calibration development
• Demonstrated technical leadership on propulsion system control and calibration development projects
• Demonstrated knowledge of internal combustion engine physics, engine regulatory requirements and engine OBD
• Demonstrated ability in control algorithm development methods
• Effective experienced based or analytical problem solving ability
• Outstanding interpersonal skills and teamwork
• Demonstrated potential to teach, lead and inspire

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Controls, Systems Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering, Applied Physics, or any other relevant STEM oriented degree from an ABET accredited university
