- Learn and develop a technical aptitude for technology, as it related to collaboration environmentsÂ
- Learn and develop a technical understanding of virtualization and cloud-based collaboration technologiesÂ
- Build an overall technical aptitude for technology and information technology principlesÂ
- Assist others in technical project team(s) both local and remoteÂ
- Develop and provide the ability to serve as Microsoft Teams engineer, as it relates to the end user environment (other co-product owner is AD Governance, as it relates to the Microsoft Tenant footprint and larger scope).Â
- Develop and provide support for Microsoft Teams phone system and endpointsÂ
- Develop and provide support for Genesys and WebRTC systemsÂ
- Develop and provide the ability to serve as OpenText XMedius fax systemsÂ
- Execute the completion of basic tasks and phases of projects and client-based collaboration system support.Â
- Ensure that deployment standards are met by following solution/project team scope documentation.Â
- Participate in knowledge transfer from other workplace services associates to enhance one’s abilities to complete technical tasks.Â
- Develop an understanding of technical systems analysis and designÂ
- Provide feedback with consulting support and technical topicsÂ
- Assist in technical activities leading to the resolution of business application and technical problems.Â
- Abide by current Encova division and department standardsÂ
- Develop an understanding on the effects of company decisions on the systems, including new project charters.Â
- Ability to be coached, mentored by team members to aid in career development.Â
- Develop an understanding in projecting software and hardware requirements and budgets, including review of contracts and associated assets.Â
- Process Request, Incident and Problem tickets as well as participate in support activitiesÂ
- Complete basic tasks assigned by other team members that are working with business stakeholders and product vendors to design integrations to desired systems.Â
- Learn and support new tools, technologies, and processes to continuously improve software and software delivery.Â
- Process and complete basic project tasks and provide status updatesÂ
- Adhere to Encova IT principles, High Availability, Least Privilege, Customer Service, etc. Â
- Gain awareness of current technology trends and compliance regulations.Â
- Engage in shared knowledge and provided cross training sessions with other members of the team.Â
- Perform other duties as assigned.Â
- This individual will be an entry level administrator around single domain focus as it relates to Phone systems, Faxing, Microsoft Teams, WebRTC, virtualization, cloud technologies, IT processes and regulatory compliance. They will be working proactively to participate in the support of customer facing solutions to enable and protect our organization and reputation. Â
- 3Â years of IT experience preferredÂ
- Associates degree with a major in computer information systems or engineering preferred or equivalent work experience.Â
- General understanding in deployment and implementation project teams proceduresÂ
- Highly motivated and ambitious, excellent communication skills, creative & critical thinker.Â
- General IT engineering understanding, such as operating systems, Fax Solutions, servers, virtualization, cloud technologies (SaaS, IaaS, PaaS)Â
- General understanding of designing, testing, and deploying enterprise applications for production and other environments.Â
- Basic understanding of collaboration products, Microsoft Teams, Genesys and WebRTCÂ
- Effective customer service skills, including active listening, conflict resolution, decision making, and negotiationÂ
- Effective verbal, phone, written, and interpersonal communication skillsÂ
- Quick to adapt and eager to learnÂ
- Able to lift 40 pounds and perform physical tasks related to moving and installing technology related equipmentÂ
- Ability to work overtime as neededÂ
- Basic technical, analytical, and troubleshooting skillsÂ
- Industry and vendor certifications a plusÂ
