Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Computer Programmer IV to design, develop, maintain, and enhance complex software applications and systems supporting mission-critical operations. This role requires advanced programming expertise, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to implement effective software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, maintain, and document complex software applications and systems.
• Analyze business and technical requirements and recommend efficient programming solutions.
• Investigate system enhancements, application redesigns, and modernization opportunities.
• Create and maintain program specifications, workflows, and technical documentation.
• Develop and manage complex data structures, file relationships, and system integrations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve advanced software and system issues.
• Collaborate with users, analysts, and technical teams to support project objectives.
• Support software testing, implementation, and deployment activities.
• Prepare operating procedures and technical documentation for developed applications.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior programmers and technical staff.

Required Qualifications:

• Active Secret Security Clearance (required).
• Strong experience in software development, programming, and system support.
• Experience analyzing requirements and translating them into technical solutions.
• Knowledge of software development methodologies and best practices.
• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in both independent and team environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting government, defense, engineering, logistics, or enterprise technology environments.
• Familiarity with software modernization, system integration, and database technologies.
• Experience leading technical efforts or mentoring development teams.
• Knowledge of secure software development practices.
