Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer II
Location: Irvine, CA
Contract Length: 2 years

Job Summary:
A Product/Technical Steward serves as the Subject Matter Expert within MS&T for the stated Engineering Discipline. The Product/Technical Steward supports lifecycle management of new and future products.

The Electrical Engineer Product/Technical Steward:
  • Supports End of Life (EOL) component changes, from simple resistor changes to major assembly changes to assure continuous uneventful production is maintained.
  • Assures component changes are properly assessed to assure the change is supported by objective evidence and maintains compliance with product specifications and regulatory requirements.
  • Assures component changes are properly introduced to assure continuous, uneventful production.
  • Assures PCB assemblies are correctly designed, tested, and released into production.
  • Support or lead continuous improvement projects to support Operational Excellence activities.
  • Support Design Reviews for Tech-Transfer and R&D projects.
  • Provides second line technical/scientific process support.

This position will work closely with R&D, Procurement, Technical Service, Production lines, and QA to maintain current product lines and develop next generation world class manufacturing processes, systems, fixtures, and products.

Must Have Skills:
  • Bachelor's or greater in Electrical or Electromechanical Engineering is required.
  • 2 years of directly related experience in engineering role, including understanding circuit analysis, electromechanical design and tolerance analysis.
  • Capable of working collaboratively with multiple teams across multiple locations and providing technical and process direction and interacting with all levels of management.
  • Verification and Validation experience
  • FMEA and Risk Analysis is a plus.
