Howyou’ll make an impact 

Leverage yourexpertise inenterpriserisk management,policyand risk governanceto continuously enhance FCC’s risk practices.As a Risk Specialist,you’llcollaborate with key risk management partners, including senior leaders, toguide the development ofpolicies,standards and processes,as well as provide support to the risk management committees at FCC. 

As a strong communicator,you’llensurepolicies and briefing materials arewell structured andappropriate for asenior leader audience.You’lluseyour attention to detail andorganizational skills todrive process enhancement in howthe risk committees are supported.

Whatyou’ll do 

• Work with stakeholders and partners to understand andtranslate business practices and information into meaningful policiesand related documentation across risk categories 

• Coach and mentor others to understand and implement effectivepolicy practices, governancethrough the three linesmodel andoperate within risk appetite  

• Developmaterials including briefing notes and power points for executiveand committeeaudiences, mentoring othersin this area of expertise 

• Provide support3 of FCC’srisk management committeesincluding managing process enhancements 

Whatyou’ll bring to the team 

Requiredqualifications:  

• Adegreein economics, businessadministrationorarelated field 

• At least four years of experience in agovernance,riskmanagement or policy management environment (oranequivalent combination of education and experience) 

• Extensive knowledge ofgovernancein areas such aspolicydevelopment  

• Experience with industry standards and frameworksand committee management 

Preferredqualifications:  

• Certifications related to risk managementor governance,such asCRM, CRMP, GPC.D 

• Experience in financial services or regulated industries 

• Experience developinggovernance structures,practicesandpolicies
