J Bell Servicesis looking for a strongOperations Manager and people leader who can take ownership of our day-to-day office operations, develop a high-performing team, improve the customer experience, and help build the systems and accountability needed for continued growth.
We need someone who can lead people, solve problems, improve processes, monitor performance, and take ownership without waiting for the owner to manage every detail.
The right person will be comfortable balancing people leadership, customer service, operational efficiency, scheduling, revenue opportunities, employee administration, and continuous improvement.
Compensation and Benefits:β―
This full-time position will be from our location in Dallas, Texas. The starting salary for this role is between $80,000 - $90,000 annually (based on experience). In addition, we offer a monthly healthcare stipend; 7 paid holidays; Paid Time Off program and a positive work environment.
Operations Manager Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree preferred; 5+ years of administrative or operations management experience.
- Proven experience managing multiple locations or teams across a region.
- Strong leadership and ability to manage and develop staff across multiple offices.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Sound judgment, problem-solving ability, and capacity for independent decision-making
- Ability to drive change and implement company-wide initiatives.
- Professionalism, discretion, and ability to handle confidential information.
- Proficiency with standard business and office technology system.
Operations Manager Responsibilities:
- Monitor scheduling capacity and revenue opportunities by identifying open appointment times, recovering cancellations, and ensuring timely follow-up on leads and estimates. Support customer reactivation and outbound efforts while tracking booking, conversion, scheduling, and revenue-related performance.
- Lead, coach, and develop CSRs, dispatchers, and other office staff by setting daily priorities, delegating responsibilities, and ensuring follow-through. Build a positive, accountable work environment through regular one-on-ones, performance conversations, recognition, and professional management of performance concerns.
- Manage day-to-day HR administration, including weekly payroll and timecard review, PTO and attendance tracking, employee onboarding and offboarding, records and documentation, and policy communication. Provide support with employee coaching, corrective action, and performance-improvement processes as needed.
- Improve office systems and workflows by developing SOPs, identifying recurring operational issues, implementing solutions, and training employees on established processes. Track key performance metrics and provide ownership with clear reporting on challenges, actions taken, results, and areas requiring attention.
