II-Engineer to M/S Eckerö Link

Eckerö Group has recently expanded its fleet with a new vessel,M/S Eckerö Link (formerlyNautica). The vessel is scheduled to enter service later this winter.

We are currently seeking aSecond Engineer to join us onM/S Eckerö Link. This is apermanent position starting immediately or as agreed.

M/S Eckerö Link will sail under theSwedish flag and operate daily betweenLångnäs(Åland) andNaantali(Finland). The work rotation follows a2:3 schedule.

The official working and safety language onboard isEnglish, while skills inFinnishand Swedish are considered an advantage.

Who are you?

We’re seeking an engineer with:

-Relevant professional experience and qualifications

-Strong leadership qualities

-A positive attitude and commitment to maintaining high safety and environmental standards onboard

As aSecond Engineer, you’ll be responsible for the operation and maintenance of the ship’s machinery and auxiliary systems, ensuring they meet all current safety and environmental requirements. A solid overall knowledge of the vessel’s technical systems is essential.

Minimum requirement for the position is a valid aWatchkeeping Engineer certificate(STCW III/1). Higher-level certificates of competence are considered an advantage.
