OUR CONTEXT

The Data Streaming Architect will be responsible for designing and overseeing the architecture and infrastructure that support the organization’s streaming services. This position is focused on creating scalable, efficient, and high-performance streaming solutions that enhance user experiences and drive engagement.

YOUR ROLE

As Data Streaming Architect, your key responsibilities will include:

• Architecture Design: Develop and implement a comprehensive architecture for streaming services, ensuring scalability, reliability, and optimal performance across various platforms.

• Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and support to delivery teams on utilizing asynchronous, publish/subscribe, and data streaming patterns at scale to improve system efficiency and responsiveness.

• Integration Strategy: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including content delivery, product management, and user experience, to integrate streaming solutions seamlessly into existing products and services.

• Kafka Platform Expertise: Design, deliver, and operate a Kafka platform at scale, ensuring robust data streaming capabilities and reliable message processing.

• Performance Optimization: Monitor and analyze streaming performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to enhance user experience and minimize latency.

• Security and Compliance: Ensure that streaming services adhere to security standards and comply with relevant regulations, including content protection and user privacy measures.

YOUR PROFILE

You have an extensive experience in designing, delivering, and operating a Kafka platform at scale, a strong background in streaming technologies, and excellent problem-solving capabilities. They will play a crucial role in driving the success of the organization’s streaming initiatives and enhancing overall user satisfaction.

Your background :

• Data Streaming Expertise: In-depthknowledge of data streaming technologies andframeworks,especially Apache Kafka,including design,deployment, andoperation atscale.

• Architecture DesignSkills:Proficiency indesigning scalable and reliable streaming architecturesthataccommodate high-throughput data flows andlow-latencyprocessing.

• Data Domain Design:Experience indesigning datadomains and datamodelsthat support efficient dataorganization,accessibility, andsmoothintegrationacrossvarioussystems.

• Asynchronous andPublish/Subscribe Patterns: Strongunderstanding ofasynchronous communication patterns andpublish/subscribemodels,includingtheirimplementation in streaming architectures.

• DataIntegration:Experience inintegrating diverse data sources andsystems,ensuringseamless data flow and real-timeprocessingcapabilities.

• ProgrammingProficiency:Skills inprogramminglanguagescommonlyused in data streaming,such as Java, Scala, or Python,withexperience indeveloping streaming applications.

• Collaboration and Communication: Stronginterpersonalskills toeffectivelycollaboratewith cross-functional teams,including engineering,product management, andanalytics teams.

• Problem-SolvingAbilities: Excellentanalytical and troubleshootingskills to diagnose issueswithin streamingsystems andimplement effective solutions
