Do you want to build backend services that make a real difference for users around the world? We are looking for an Experienced Backend System Developer to join our User Services team in Lund, Sweden — a role where you will develop,maintain and evolve the services our users rely on every day.

Whatyou'll do here as Experienced Backend System Developer 

As a Backend System Developer with us, you are not just writing code — you are building the services that make a smarter, safer world work in practice. A key part of the role is learning the domain in depth, so you understand how what you build today affects everything around it tomorrow. 

• Develop new functionality in our backend services 

• Maintain and further develop existing software code 

• Configure and adapt existing systems 

• Build and continuously deepen your understanding of the domain 

• Contribute actively to the team's technical discussions and decisions 

• Take long-term responsibility for the quality and sustainability of the solutions you build

We are looking for someone who translates knowledge and experience into action. You have a strong willingness and ability to keep developing and improving — both yourself and the things you build. You are driven, you respect deadlines, and you are humble towards your colleagues. You see the long-term perspective in your work and understand how your part fits into the bigger picture. And you bring the kind of energy that lifts a whole team. 

We'd love to hear that you have: 

• Solid experience working withJava andSpring 

• Experience developing and working withREST APIs 

• Experience working with some form of authentication 

• Fluency inEnglish, both spoken and written 

• A relevant education in software development — or equivalent professional experience 

Bonus points for: 

• Working knowledge ofOAuth2 andOIDC — this can be a deciding factor, but it is also something you can learn with us 

• Working knowledge ofSwedish — it makes everyday life easier, but it is not a requirement 

• Working knowledge of AWS.  

• Working knowledge of Git,Github Actions. 

• Knowledge of working in Linux. 

• Knowledge of another programming language such as Python.
