The primary focus of the Unit Secretary is to coordinate and facilitate the flow of patient information from admission to discharge through reception, transcription, and information processing and handles unit clerical functions in conjunction with the Registered Nurse.
Position Qualifications:
• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Medical Terminology course or successful completion of Moses Taylor Hospital medical terminology course during orientation.
