What you’ll be doing
As part of the Enterprise Real Estate and Workplace Experience team, you will lead the real estate data and analytics strategy that supports the management of CIBC’s corporate office and retail portfolios. As a Senior Director, Enterprise Real Estate Analytics & Portfolio Optimization, you will be accountable for the strategy, governance, and delivery of enterprise real estate data, reporting, and insights that drive portfolio performance, workplace planning, capital decision-making, and operational efficiency. Working closely with senior leaders and cross-functional partners, you will translate complex financial and non-financial data into trusted, actionable insights that inform business priorities and executive decisions. You will shape and evolve the data roadmap, establish an efficient and sustainable data management approach, and guide the use of business intelligence tools to enhance performance. In addition, you will collaborate across Enterprise Real Estate and Workplace Experience to foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.

How you’ll succeed
Lead enterprise real estate data strategy– Create and deliver the data and analytics roadmap for enterprise real estate, including identifying a data management plan including tools to support reporting, dashboards, and repositories that enable decision-making processes.
Build trusted data foundations – Establish and maintain data standards, controls, and governance practices across systems and sources. Ensure data quality, privacy, retention, audit readiness, and a clear single source of truth.
Turn data into executive insight – Guide the translation of complex portfolio, workplace, facilities, and financial data into clear recommendations, presentations, and materials that help senior leaders make informed choices on strategy, capital planning, and operating costs.
Optimize portfolio and workplace outcomes – Support delivery of portfolio metrics that will enable decisions to optimize the portfolio, improve employee workplace, and client experience.
Strengthen cross-functional delivery – Partner with Finance, Human Resources, Technology, suppliers, and business leaders to connect data sources, improve reporting accuracy, and support an integrated operating model across enterprise real estate.
Lead people and change – Work collaboratively across ERE to guiding change in a way that aligns with CIBC’s values, risk culture, and data management standards.
Who you are
You have several years of progressive experience in data management, analytics, and business intelligence or related functions within large, complex organizations. You have excellent analytical, strategic, management, and communication skills. Work experience in corporate real estate is preferred.
You’re analytical. You give meaning to data. You enjoy investigating multifaceted business problems and turning information into practical insight. You communicate detailed information in a meaningful way.
You have technical foundation. You have a degree in Business, Computer Science, Statistics, Data Analytics, or a related field. It’s an asset if you have an MBA or other advanced degree. You can demonstrate experience with data visualization and business intelligence tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
You’re a strategic thinker. You connect business priorities, portfolio needs, workplace trends, and financial considerations to shape strategies that support growth, agility, and operational efficiency.
Your influence makes a difference. You know that relationships and networks are essential to success. You build trusted partnerships across functions and levels, and you can guide senior stakeholders toward clear, well-supported outcomes.Â
