Designed for upcoming Spring 2026 graduates, this dynamic, analytical role offers the opportunity to design and develop software solutions while learning from experienced professionals across PURE’s technology organization. Successful candidates will demonstrate intellectual curiosity, adaptability, attention to detail, and strong, empathetic communication—qualities that will help shape them into our next generation of technology leaders.Â

WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related fieldÂ
- Strong background in coding with proficiency in at least one of the following: Java, JavaScript, or PythonÂ
- Familiarity with relational databases and an understanding of SQLÂ
- Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skillsÂ
- Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication abilitiesÂ
- A collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced, learning-oriented environmentÂ
- Passionate about technology, innovation, and the high net worth insurance marketÂ
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Participate in a rotational program covering the full software development lifecycle across three functional areas:Â
Business Analysis, Development, and Production SupportÂ
- Gain an understanding of Agile development methodology and how it drives successful technology deliveryÂ
Business Analysis RotationÂ
- Build and maintain product backlogs using Agile practicesÂ
- Break down high-level features into deliverable user stories with defined acceptance criteriaÂ
- Develop subject matter expertise in key functions of our core platformsÂ
- Prepare for and facilitate User Acceptance TestingÂ
Development RotationÂ
- Analyze business requirements and design solutions for review by senior architectsÂ
- Develop, unit test, and implement features based on approved designsÂ
- Troubleshoot and resolve escalated support cases, perform root cause analysis, and develop preventative solutionsÂ
- Support production releases as neededÂ
- Learn to build, deploy, and debug serverless applications using AWS Lambda and ECSÂ
- Understand the importance of quality assurance and develop with quality in mindÂ
Production Support RotationÂ
- Analyze and respond to production support casesÂ
- Communicate effectively and empathetically with internal and external stakeholdersÂ
- Escalate issues appropriately and update Knowledge Base articles with new resolutions or workaroundsÂ
About Our Team:Â
PURE’s Application Development team is part of our Business Transformation organization, focused on delivering impactful change through technology. This growing group of project managers, business analysts, architects, developers, and testers manages our core platforms—including Policy, Claims, Finance, Service, and Digital—and plays a critical role in driving the evolution of PURE’s technology landscape.Â

Technology Analysts begin their careers in a paid, comprehensive rotational training program that provides a strong foundation in high net worth property and casualty insurance software solutions. The program introduces Analysts to PURE’s policies, products, technology platforms, and data analytics practices that differentiate us within the industry.Â
The program begins in September 2026, with each analyst splitting time between our Warren, NJ and White Plains, NY (HQ) offices. Upon completion of the program, Analysts will be placed in a full-time role at one of these locations, depending on team assignment.Â

Compensation:The base salary for this role will be $70,000, based on a full-time work schedule.
