  • Coordinate services includingindividual finances, activities, behavioral supports, healthcare, nutrition, family involvement, education/vocational services, and household management
  • Assist supervisors with maintaining consistency inprogramming, staff communication, and overall quality of care
  • Create and managestaff schedules to ensure appropriate coverage and support
  • Support implementation ofbehavior support plans, treatment plans, functional assessments, and person-centered plans
  • Providedirect support and hands-on care during assigned shifts, including personal cares and daily living support
  • Utilizede-escalation techniques, crisis intervention, and positive behavior support strategies when assisting individuals with complex behavioral or mental health needs
  • Build and maintainprofessional relationships with individuals served, families, and interdisciplinary support teams
  • Assist withhousehold tasks, meal preparation, medication support, appointments, community activities, and general upkeep of the home
  • Maintainaccurate electronic documentation and communicate important updates, concerns, and progress to supervisors and team members

Required (Must-Have):Ā 

  • High school diploma or GEDĀ 
  • Valid driver’s license and proof of auto insuranceĀ 
  • Basic computer skillsĀ 
  • Minimum oftwo years’experience delivering behavioral health servicesĀ 
  • Minimum ofĀ one yearof leadĀ experience in residential services or a two-year degree in a related fieldĀ 
  • Ability to support individuals with significant mental health symptoms, including physical or verbal aggression, property destruction, chemical dependence, brain injury, and cognitive impairmentsĀ 

Physical Requirements:Ā 

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, and remain active for extended periodsĀ 
  • Ability toĀ lift upĀ to 50Ā lbsĀ 

Skills & Abilities:Ā 

  • Demonstrated experience using de-escalation techniques, conflict resolution, and positive behavioral supportsĀ 
  • Strong observation, counselingĀ and assessment skills
  • Strong teamwork skills and openness to feedbackĀ 
  • Ability to work one-on-one and in group settingsĀ 
  • Strong time management and self-management skills
