The DSP (caregiver) is responsible for providing direct support, hands-on instruction, assistance, and positive direction to individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD) in a manner that ensures their health, safety, successful achievement of service objectives, and personal goals.   Â

- Enrich and support the lives of our residents while maintaining a safe and healthy environment  Â
- Provide companionship and personalized care while encouraging independence and self-care. Â
- Assist with activities of daily living, including dressing, bathing, grooming, toileting, and eating.  Â
- Prepare meals and snacks. Â
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry duties.  Â
- Provide mobility and transfer assistance, which may include using mechanical lift devices.Â
- Implement positive behavior supports and de-escalate challenging behaviors when needed. Â
- Other duties as assigned  Â
