What You’ll Do:Â
As an Employment Support Specialist (Job Coach), you’ll provide one-on-one support to individuals with disabilities as they explore, secure, and succeed in competitive, integrated employment. You’ll be a mentor, advocate, and partner in helping others reach their goals through:Â
Meeting clients in their homes and community to build trust and connectionÂ
Conducting career assessments that focus on individual strengths, skills, and interestsÂ
Helping develop or revise resumes, practice interviews, and identify job leadsÂ
Supporting onboarding and training with new employersÂ
Providing ongoing coaching to promote job retention and personal growthÂ
Attending team meetings, writing progress reports, and maintaining clear communicationÂ
Creating positive, lasting impact—one job, one goal, one success at a timeÂ
This hybrid role includes in-person and remote work, with up to two days per week working from home based on service needs. Mileage for work-related travel is reimbursed.Â

What You Bring to the Table:Â
Required (Must-Have)Â
Must meet requirements of a Designated CoordinatorÂ
High school diploma or GED plus at least 4 years of experience providing direct care or support to individuals with disabilities or older adults ORÂ
Associate degree in human services, education, or a related field plus at least 2 years of experience providing direct care or support to individuals with disabilities or older adults ORÂ
Bachelor’s degree in human services, education, or a related field plus at least 1 year of experience providing direct care or support to individuals with disabilities or older adultsÂ
Valid driver’s license and proof of insuranceÂ
Must be at least 18 years of ageÂ
Physical RequirementsÂ
Ability to stand, walk, bend, or lift Â
Skills & AbilitiesÂ
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skillsÂ
Ability to document care, follow support plans, and collaborate with internal and external team membersÂ
Experience teaching, coaching, or mentoring individuals in employment-related skillsÂ
Knowledge of the job market and hiring processÂ
Demonstrates integrity by maintaining confidentiality and following organizational policiesÂ
Highly organized, flexible, and able to manage multiple tasks or unexpected demands professionallyÂ
Fluency in ASL, Spanish, Hmong, Somali, or Oromo preferred Â
Proficient with using technology for documentationÂ
