What You’ll Do Â
As an Associate Principal focused on the Automotive & Power Sports sector, you will be part of a team responsible for sales, account development and growth of client relationships in pursuit of annual revenue goals within the sector. Further, this position collaborates with other senior team members and the marketing team to efficiently build revenue pipelines and ensure that Ducker Carlisle is “top of mind” across the Automotive & Power Sports industries.
The Associate Principal will work closely with project execution teams on proposals, scoping and oversight of sold projects for their specific area of expertise. It is critical that the candidate is resourceful, highly organized, process-oriented, data driven, and tech savvy. In addition, strong candidates will be intellectually curious and embrace continuous improvement, constantly seeking ways to ensure client satisfaction with Ducker Carlisle deliverables. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated record of accomplishment in selling services to Automotive & Power Sports clients with an established network of relationships to leverage quickly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify opportunities to engage with new and existing clients on thought leadership, value creation, and proactive idea generation
- Establish and maintain relationships with a target group of companies within the Automotive & Powersports industries in the United States
- Work across firm practices to leverage existing thought leadership and previous project deliverables for sale pursuits
- Own end-to-end sales processes including opportunity identification, engagement with client throughout sales cycle, value proposition development, and project planning
- Partner seamlessly with project execution teams to finalize client proposals, staffing plans, and project cost
- When supporting client project delivery, strive for outstanding delivery to help position Ducker Carlisle for follow-on opportunities
- Leverage company systems to support sales and delivery activity (eg. HubSpot, NetSuite SuiteProjects Pro)

Qualifications:Â
- Bachelor’s degree from a top institution (advanced degree or MBA preferred)
- Substantial consulting experience with Automotive & Power Sports clients, having led or been the primary relationship manager for engagements
- Significant experience in business development with a demonstrated track record in successfully leading efforts to originate new consulting business
- Knowledge, involvement, and networking within the Automotive & Power sports landscape, having relationships with industry leaders
- Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders to ensure seamless client delivery
- Professional demeanor with unquestioned integrity, credibility and character demonstrating high moral and ethical behavior
- Comfort working independently, as well as within a team environment
- Ability to travel to client site, industry events or for company business

CompensationÂ
The estimated base salary range for this role is $185k - $285k annually. Exact compensation is determined based upon qualifications, experience, and location. Associate Principals are also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based on company, team, and individual performance.
