GENERALPURPOSE OFJOB:
Provide administrative support for the Department of Medical Education.
Responsibilities include meeting coordination/scheduling/minutes, ordering andmanaging supplies, document filing and organization, data entry, and other
administrative duties as needed. The ability to work independently as well as
part of a team, attention to detail and excellent organizational skills are essential.

•Maintains utmost level of confidentiality at all times.
•Adheres to hospital policies and procedures.
•Demonstrates business practices and personal actions that are ethical and adheres tocorporate compliance and integrity guidelines.
•Performs daily office functions - phones, e-mail, typing, transcribing, photocopying, filing,faxing, sorting and distribution of mail.
•Utilizes strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and excellent verbal and writtencommunication.
•Responsible for coordinating Thank a Resident Day, Research Nigh, QI Symposium, seniordinner and assisting with the coordination of special events such as Resident Graduation,Workshops, orientation and Resident Recruitment.
•Assists with document management for Medical Education and ongoing maintenance of files.
•Responsible for preparing and/or assisting with the preparation of the Residency Program,Medical Education, IRB and Library department budgets.
•Primary support for the Clinical Competency Committee, including preparing residentevaluations, meeting minutes, and sending out completed CCC reports
•Responsible for resident academic tracking including monitoring of AMBOSS, PREP, ITEscores, etc.
•Responsible for Huddle and GMEC agenda, minutes and meeting invites
•Responsible for Mid and End of Year Review prep and scheduling
•Data entry into electronic data management systems such as residency online programs tomanage tracking and curriculum
•Assists with scheduling meetings with internal and external attendees and coordinatinglogistics as needed.
•General secretarial support for Medical Education and the Residency Program, both in CorpusChristi and remotely for RGV.
•May perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND/OREXPERIENCE:
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six monthsto one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education andexperience.
