Workshop (FENZ) Co-Ordinator

Are you an organised automotive professional who thrives on coordination, customer service and keeping things moving?

We’re looking for aWorkshop FENZ Coordinator to take ownership of the day-to-day coordination ofFire and Emergency New Zealand (FENZ) fleet vehicles through our workshop.

This is a key role where your organisation, communication and attention to detail will directly contribute to keeping emergency response vehiclessafe, compliant and ready for service.

What you'll be doing

• Coordinate thebooking, scheduling and workflow of FENZ vehicles through the workshop.

• Plan and prioritise servicing, repairs, warranty work and compliance requirements.

• Monitor job progress and keep FENZ representatives and internal teams informed.

• Act as thekey point of contact for FENZ fleet representatives, building strong and professional relationships.

• Coordinate COF inspections, certification, preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing.

• Work closely with technicians, Parts, suppliers and subcontractors to minimise vehicle downtime.

• Ensure workshop documentation, service records and warranty claims are accurate and up to date.

• Monitor turnaround times, vehicle availability and service level requirements.

• Prepare fleet and workshop reports and support continuous improvement initiatives.

• Work closely with the Workshop Manager to identify opportunities to improve efficiency and fleet availability.

• Champion a strong focus onhealth, safety, compliance and quality.

What we're looking for

We're looking for someone who is highly organised, proactive and confident dealing with customers and multiple stakeholders.

You'll ideally bring:

• Previous experience inworkshop administration, service advising, fleet coordination or automotive operations.

• Strong scheduling, planning and organisational skills.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• High attention to detail and accuracy.

• The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced workshop environment.

• Confidence usingMicrosoft Office and workshop management systems.

• A practical, solutions-focused approach and the ability to keep things moving when priorities change.

Experience that would be a bonus

• Emergency services or government fleet experience.

• Heavy vehicle or commercial transport experience.

• Knowledge of vehicle servicing, maintenance and compliance requirements.

• Understanding ofCOF, certification and fleet maintenance processes.

• Experience with dealership management or fleet maintenance systems.
