At DotCollective, our Delivery Managers are the heartbeat of execution, the bridge between our merchants’ ambitions and our squads’ ability to make them real.

You’ll lead yoursquad operating as both their strategic delivery partner and internal squad leader. You’ll work across projects and ongoing support for merchants, ensuring their goals are achieved.

You’ll be theface of delivery for these merchants, building trust, driving results, and executing both the roadmap and the squad to deliver sustained impact.

Supported by a Delivery Lead, you’ll balancebig-picture outcomes withhands-on squad management, ensuring every initiative runs efficiently, profitably, and with precision.

This role is designed for scale, focus, and deeper merchant partnerships.

Core Responsibilities

Client & Relationship Management

  • Act as theprimary delivery contact for several key merchants.
  • Build long-term, trusted relationships, being embedded in the merchant’s day-to-day and quarterly planning.
  • Partner with client stakeholders (eCommerce, Marketing, Retail, and Tech) to align goals, priorities, and budgets.
  • Anticipate needs before they arise, identifying risks, opportunities, and moments to add value.

Squad Leadership & Operations

  • Lead yourdelivery squad of developers, technical leads, and a delivery lead.
  • Oversee squad performance, scheduling, capacity, and profitability.
  • Ensure clarity across sprint planning, QA, releases, and client communication.
  • Maintain high delivery confidence, balancing timelines, scope, and quality.
  • Review budgets weekly and ensure billable targets are met across the team.

Strategic & Commercial Growth

  • Own the rollout of the merchant’sannual roadmap and quarterly plans.
  • Report on performance, trading metrics, and delivery outcomes.
  • Provide ecommerce performance consulting to merchants to augment there own teams.
  • Identify opportunities to grow accounts through new initiatives, strategy sessions, and proactive recommendations.
  • Collaborate with the Strategy and Design teams to introduce service expansions.
  • Drive commercial growth through increased resource utilisation and expanded services.

Delivery Governance & Quality

  • Manage projects for merchants from discovery to launch.
  • Partner with your Delivery Lead to ensure:
    • Tasks are organised, estimated, and prioritised correctly.
    • QA and deployment processes follow DotCollective’s delivery standards.
    • Documentation, project reports, and roadmaps are maintained.
  • Maintain alignment with internal processes outlined in the Delivery Handbook, ensuring every project, support pack, and sprint meets our delivery benchmarks.

Team Coaching & Culture

  • Mentor and support your Delivery Lead and squad members, promoting proactive communication and accountability.
  • Uphold DotCollective’s culture ofrelationships, reliability, results and excellence.
  • Drive engagement through retros, quarterly reviews, and team days.

What You’ll Bring

  • Experience in enterprise project management & account management within an agency environment.
  • Deep understanding of Shopify and eCommerce delivery.
  • Strong commercial and operational awareness, managing time, budget, and margin levers with confidence.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Experience leading cross-functional squads or client portfolios.
  • A balance of empathy and assertiveness, able to coach teams and guide clients toward the right outcomes.

  • Hybrid / remote-first with in-person collaboration as required
