We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Maintenance Technician with 5+ years of experience to join our team. This position requires technical skills to evaluate, troubleshoot, repair, and install equipment. In addition, the Maintenance Technician must possess an awareness and understanding of how to work safely while performing facilities and equipment repairs as well as preventative maintenance on all HVAC systems and walk-in coolers.Â
Shift – Full Time, Must be able to work flexible shifts including nights, some weekends, and rotating “On-Call” duty with other techsÂ

Job DescriptionÂ
Troubleshoot, Diagnose, and Repair restaurant level equipment:Â
Strong practical knowledge of commercial HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing systems, and other ancillary equipment.Â
Service and repair 5-10 ton HVAC unitsÂ
Handle thermostats and remote equipment controllersÂ
Service and repair walk in and reach in coolersÂ
Monitor equipment to detect malfunctions for electrical and mechanical faultsÂ
Use appropriate hand & power tools, refrigerant gauges, multi meters, ohmmeters, and other related equipment in the performance of PM and repairs.Â
Work from elevated areas such as ladders, platforms, roof topsÂ
Keep equipment warranty/repair records and asset tags up to dateÂ
Mild plumbing work (sinks, drains)Â
Mild electrical work (switches, outlets, conduit)Â
Manage Corrigo, Service Channel, Service Titan W/O, equipment taggingÂ
Replacing or reaffixing floor tilesÂ
Sheetrock work, taping, floating, and paintingÂ

QualificationsÂ
High School diploma or GED preferredÂ
Minimum 5+ year’s experience with HVAC/R Â
Minimum 2 year’s experience with oven/hot equipment repairsÂ
EPA Type 2 or Universal certification, Contractor’s license preferredÂ
RETA / NATE certification preferredÂ

Must pass a background check and random drug screeningsÂ
Must have a clean driving record – will undergo regular MVR reportsÂ
Must have a smart device to communicate and access Service ChannelÂ
Maintain an accurate inventory of supplies and toolsÂ
Complete work orders promptly, prioritizing critical tasksÂ
Work without direct supervision on daily assigned tasksÂ
Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematicsÂ
Must be able to perform under extreme stress when there is an equipment failureÂ
Must communicate clearly and effectively via both verbal and writtenÂ
Critical thinker with good problem-solving abilities and strong attention to detailsÂ
Must be able to work in temperatures ranging from 30 degrees and up to 100 degrees for long periods of timeÂ
Must be comfortable working in narrow aisles and passageways including confined spaces for extended periods of timeÂ
Ability to lift 50 pounds or more on a frequent basisÂ
The ability to stand or kneel for multiple hours at a timeÂ
Good manual dexterityÂ
