Basic Qualifications
  • You must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for these roles

  • Must be flexible and able to work a variety of shifts, including days, nights, weekends, holidays and special events
  • Excellent Hospitality skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a very fast paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

Theme Park and Hotel Operations
Lifeguard
  • Previous Lifeguarding or Swimming Instructor experience preferred
  • CPR/AED certified
Housekeeping Room Attendant
  • Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel, cleaning up to 13 units per day
  • Previous experience in a luxury Hotel, preferred

Disneyland Resort Culinary
Signature Fine Dining Culinary (Signature Fine Dining/Dinner Cook or Fine Dining/Demi Chef)
  • Vocation School training or High School certification
  • Culinary Education Degree or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the culinary field/high volume restaurant or culinary degree and 3 years related experience
  • Ability to prepare, season, and cook stocks, soups, sauces, meats, vegetables, deserts, and other foods for consumption in restaurants
  • Ability to bake, roast, broil, and steam meats, fish, vegetables, and other foods. Add seasoning to foods during mixing or cooking according to personal judgement and experience
  • Knowledge of knife-skills and using cooking techniques such as braising, baking, roasting (oven or rotating spit), and high-level skillet/sautĆ© work
Pastry Dinner Cook
  • May include Pastry Line/Dinner Cook & Pastry Cook/Baker
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the culinary field/high volume restaurant or Culinary Degree and 2 years related experience
  • Prepare products according to recipe guidelines
  • Knowledge and understanding of tools, measurements, ingredients, equipment, small wares, and cooking required for a bakery
  • Experience making mousse, pate-a-choux, and French macarons

Facilities (FOS)
Electrician
  • At least two or more years of experience, along with training from a trade school, apprenticeship, or relevant experience.
  • Ability to perform maintenance on food preparation and holding appliances/equipment. Understanding of and ability to operate under Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) guidelines and other food safety/sanitary guidelines. Must also be able to troubleshoot and repair gas and steam systems applied in commercial kitchen equipment.
  • Technical competence, the ability to read and understand detailed instructions, blueprints, flowcharts, schematics, and engineering documents, and pass all compliance for technical and safety training
Pruner - Tree Worker
  • Must be able to enter a tree (10 to 150 feet) via safe climbing practices under WC-CTW, International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) and ANSI Z133.1 guidelines, as well as safely use an aerial lift under DLR guidelines. Ability to gain proficiency and knowledge of different climbing systems is required
  • Western Chapter Certified Tree Worker (WC-CTW) or the level of ability to obtain a Certified Tree Worker Qualification
Gardener
  • At least one year of experience in landscape maintenance or construction with a landscape maintenance company.Ā 
  • Retail or wholesale nursery experience is acceptable.Ā 
  • Experience could also be from an ROP, College or High School program (Maintaining one’s own home yard does not constitute acceptable experience).
Horticultural Exterminator (IPM)
  • California Qualified Applicator License or Certificate
  • Registered Applicator or Branch 2 Field Representative license or the ability to acquire is necessary
  • Experience with spray equipment and application of pesticides
  • Preferred experience with working knowledge of MS Office software, wildlife trapping experience, bird mitigation knowledge, and ability to communicate effectively
Maintenance Mechanic (Outside Machinist-Non-Auto)
  • Must have two or more years of experience directly related to a Maintenance Mechanic in an industrial production facility.
  • Experience with micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and basic tools required of a machinist
  • Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems and familiarity with the alignment of pumps and shafts
Operating Engineer
  • Journeyman Operating Engineer or maintenance machinist experience
  • Unlimited CFC license
  • Background as a Utilities Man Class A or C, Boiler Technician Class A or C
Electronic Technician (Sound Mechanic)
  • Must have 2 years of experience and ideal backgrounds including trade school, apprenticeship, and related experience
  • Must have technical competence, the ability to read and understand detailed instructions, blueprints, flowcharts, schematics, and engineering documents, and pass all compliance necessary for technical and safety training
  • Knowledge of control and repair of circuits and motor

Tenaya Stone Spa Roles
  • Previous experience in a Spa or Hotel environmentĀ 
  • Basic computer knowledgeĀ 
Esthetician
  • Provide consistent and professional facial and body treatments in accordance with Tenaya Stone Spa protocols and accepted certification practices
  • Must be able to perform all esthetic treatments offered by Resort spa
Fitness Instructor
  • Previous experience in a Spa or Hotel environment
  • Experience in the fitness field
Hair Stylist
  • Provide consistent professional hair and makeup services in accordance with Tenaya Stone Spa protocols and accepted certification practices
  • Broad understanding of color symmetry/coordination and understand the use and effects of different textures (frost, shimmer, etc.)Ā 
  • Must have the ability to create an image for the guest's needs/social eventĀ using different makeup colors, textures and application techniques
  • Must possess a technical understanding of product ingredients to avoid allergic reactions
  • Must be able to perform all hair/makeup services offered by Tenaya Stone Spa
Nail Technician
  • Must currently hold and maintain state Nail Technician license (with state of California)
  • Ability to handle difficult/sensitive situations independently, while confidently utilizing service recovery methods
  • Possess complete knowledge of all services and products while educating Guests

SCHEDULE AVAILABILITY:
Our Theme Parks and Resort Hotels operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and some shifts may start as early as 5:00am while some may end as late as 3:00am, 4:00am or 5:00am. Please note that the principles of seniority are used to schedule all roles.
