| BAE’s Electronic Combat Solutions (ECS) business area has an exciting opportunity for a Program Director to drive Strategy and Growth our Department of Navy portfolio. Reporting to the Electronic Combat Solutions VP/GM, this role may be based throughout the country collocated with a BAE Systems office with classified network connectivity and performed remotely with travel. Required Skills and Education
- Typically a Bachelor’s Degree in a technical or business-related discipline and a minimum of 12 years of experience leading technical and program teams through all phases of the lifecycle along with deep knowledge of the Navy customer.
- Proven success identifying growth areas and developing and executing new business strategic plans aligned with the company’s growth objectives. Experience leading large and/or complex programs in the Defense market is a strong positive.
- Knowledge of customer community and mission and demonstrated experience establishing and building customer relationships and the ability to collaborate within and across organizational boundaries.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Ability to lead a diverse, matrixed team, including strong partnership, leadership, coaching and mentoring skills with the ability to achieve results through others.
- Success operating, allocating resources, and prioritizing effectively in limited timeframes.
- Excellent communication skills with experience providing executive level briefings on project status and recommendations.
Preferred Skills and Education
- Master’s Degree
- Thorough understanding of the Navy market, its customers and the ability to think strategically and champion future opportunities for Electronic Combat Solutions.
- Deep understanding of the technologies and operational use cases associated with electronic warfare across the Department of Defense.
- Navy acquisition program office or requirements development/JCIDS experience
- Developmental or operational flight test experience with airborne EW systems
- Proven experience working in SAP and TS/SCI environments
- Knowledge of the Department of the Navy Corporate Process for Planning, Programming, and Budgeting.
