Controls Technician

·         Assist maintenance technicians in troubleshooting industrial control systems.

·         Work with engineering to implement automated solutions to production issues.

·         Train machine operators and maintenance technicians on automated control systems.

·         Coordinate with outside vendors and internal purchasing to order and maintain spare parts for equipment and facilities.

·         Support off shift maintenance needs.

·         Work closely with controls engineer to develop training programs for maintenance technicians.

·         Assist in installing and commissioning new equipment.

 Must have Rockwell PLC knowledge: SLC and ControlLogix preferred

·         Cognex and Microscan vision systems

·         FANUC robot programming experience

·         PanelView programming experience

·         FANUC CNC troubleshooting

·         Ability to read and interpret electrical and fluid power schematics

·         Strong communication and computer skills

·         Industrial networking systems (DH+ and Ethernet) a plus

·         3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment as a technical specialist.

·         High School Diploma or HSE is required. 

·         Bachelor degree preferred.
